What is a Branding Shoot?
A branding shoot is a professional photography session designed to capture you and your business in action — and unlike generic studio headshots, these images are deeply personal to you and your brand.
Think portraits, behind-the-scenes moments, your workspace, your products, and all the little details that make your business uniquely yours. Sessions are usually on location somewhere that feels right for you — that can be as simple as your living room, your place of work, or even the kitchen table!
The result? A collection of images you can use across your website, social media, and marketing for months to come.
How do I choose a location?
The good news is, you probably already know the perfect spot — you just haven’t thought of it yet!
Your location should feel relevant to you and your brand. That might be your home office, a local park, or even your kitchen. Somewhere that tells your story and feels natural to you will always translate better on camera than somewhere that looks good on Instagram but doesn’t feel like you.
I’ll always ask you for your ideas first, as you know your business and your vibe better than anyone. Once you’ve had a think, we can chat it through together on our planning call and make sure it’s going to work beautifully for your shoot.
What's the process?
After your initial enquiry, we can schedule a quick call to get to know you and your business. If you decide to book a Brand Mini Session or a Behind the Business shoot with me, there’s a 50% deposit to secure the booking.
Once received, I’ll send you over my Ultimate Planning Guide — which will help you get really clear on what you want from your photos. It’s an invaluable tool, and it’s only available to booked clients!
How long does a shoot take?
The Mini Brand shoot starts at a 1 hour shoot. A behind the Brand shoot is an on location shoot suitable for businesses with premisses and staff and runs at up-to 3 hours. Personal Brand shoots can be extended if multiple locations and outfits are desired.
How many photos will I get?
A 1 hour shoot usually gives you a minimum of 20 fully edited photos. A 3 hour Behind the Business shoot gives 50+ photos
What should I wear?
First and foremost — comfort! If you’re not comfortable, it will show in your photos.
Think about your brand colours if you can, but don’t panic if your wardrobe doesn’t match your hex codes! What’s more important is that your outfit feels authentically you — whether that’s a power blazer or the jeans and nice top you’d wear to a client meeting.
My rule of thumb? Wear what makes you feel like the best version of yourself. That’s the person your ideal clients need to see.

What if I don't like being in front of a camera?
I don’t think I’ve ever had a client who didn’t say this at some point — so you’re in very good company!
My job is to make you feel relaxed and have fun, and by the end of the session you’ll wonder what you were ever worried about. I take care of everything, from directing you on how to pose to making sure you feel confident throughout.
